![]() ![]() The character does appear in another comic book called Cyberforce. We get to see Aphrodite being used as the assassin she was created to be while struggling with her memory loss after each mission. The second arc is 100ish year in our future, but long before the first arc when Aphrodite is created and the world is teetering towards an undescribed catastrophe. ![]() The two different societies are at war and Aphrodite, an assassin with deadly skills, is caught in the middle while trying to figure out who she is and who is randomly taking control of her. ![]() One is highly technical and modifies and replaces body parts in an effort to improve humanity and the other does gene breeding to do the same. Humanity has survived some sort of near extinction event with two competing branches left. The first is 900 years in Aphrodite's future when she wakes up without any memory of who she is. Finch pencils the latter half and I've liked his art in the past, here is no exception to past experience. It looks as if the book is headed out of print so I picked up a copy to check it out before it gets outrageously expensive. I knew there was a statue for this character, perhaps more than one but hadn't ever read anything featuring her. ![]()
